These minds were responsible for those cravings and yearnings that you see growing inside you. You craved for that chocolate or the cream biscuit that the small child licks so earnestly. You craved for that impeccable smooth skin that the movie actor has by using certain soap or a moisturizer. The Indian ad makers are well acquainted with the way you think and they just create the ads based on your way of thinking. Take a look and you will love them.

Piyush Pandey – National Creative Director, Oglive& Mather

Ogilvy & Mather or O&M gave the first creative mind through Piyush Pandey. He was the Executive Chairman of the group of Companies that was a winner of about 600 awards while Piyush headed the post. The advertising company became one of the largest in the field of advertising in the country by holding the hands of Piyush, who joined the creative department in the year 1989 and reached the pinnacle as National Creative Director around 1994.

Sonal Dabral – Chairman, DDB Mudra and the Chief Creative Officer

This Creative Officer was a part of the huge industry for advertising for more than 20 years now and had worked with popular brands. These brands are Asian Paints, Audi, Cadbury’s and Unilever and many more. He had started his journey with Lintas and then worked with O&M and tasted success in a big way. He headed the Singapore division of Ogilvy as ECD and Chairman and gave the company its highest success in the area and also made Ogilvy the most Creative Ad Agency in the world.

Senthil Kumar – National Creative Director from JWT India

The National Creative Director of JWT – Senthil Kumar, holds this post for 3 years now. He has lead the company to win more than 200 awards for his ads for Nike, Kingfisher and Levi’s. He has been working with JWT for 11 years now and had joined in 2002 to start his journey. He has also won the prestigious Film Gold Lions for India’s first and second ever in 2009, at The Cannes Lions International Festival.

Prasoon Joshi from McCann World Group, worked as National Creative Director and CEO

This was the star in ad world and had started his career with O&M in India. He became creative leader and then Executive Creative Director for the Mumbai branch. He was promoted in 2006 to Executive Chairman for the McCann World Group and he was also Regional Creative Director for the Asia Pacific. His creativity was stamped with Marico, Saffola and NDTV India. He did add the phrase ‘thanda matlab Coca Cola’ as his work and he has been known as ‘Ad Guru’ in India fromthen onwards.

National Creative Director from Lowe Lintas – Amer Jaleel

Amer Jaleel from Lowe Lintas had worked with Mudra Ads and Clarion Bates before joining Lowe. He had already given to the ad world his creativity with ITC hotels Essar, McDonalds, Minolta, Reliance, Kinetic and Indian Oils and started with Lowe Lintas from around 2002. He joined as Creative Director and worked on Bajaj Discover, Idea and Lifebuoy and started some great works for them. Currently he heads the nine offices of Lowe Lintas in India and takes care of the Creative Products from these offices.

Regional Creative Director for the Indian Subcontinent – Sridhar Kondiparthi works with Leo Burnett

Sridhar Kondiparthi is also called Pops and his looks gave him the nick name. The advertising world saw him as painter of Bollywood billboards and then he grew in his work area and became National Creative Director of Leo Burnett, India’s Branch after his rise. He then started leading the company to better prospects and won agency of the year for a couple of times.

Taproot India and its Chief Creative Officer Agnello Dias – who was also a co-founder

Agnello Dias had worked with popular ad agencies like JWT, Lowe and Leo Burnett. Today he is the co-founder of Taproot India and also the Chairman of his own agency that has taken up ad creation. Some creative works from Dias were ads for Nike, Airtel’s ad on ‘haarek friend zaroorihotahai’ and with Goan Track. He also did the work for TOI and Mumbai Mirror.

K S Chakravarthy of FCB Ulka Advertising Pvt Limited

K S Chakravarthy was with JWT and felt that he was not ready to do the work that was expected out of him in his company. He went back to learn some more basics and also worked in elementary level. He left JWT in 1980 and was called back by the company to work for them again. Then he joined Leo Burnett and started on film making. He also worked as freelancer and then took a 3 year break from ad world. He went back to that world in 2008 and came to fame with FCB Ulka.

KomalBediSohal, the Chief Creative Officer from Rediffusion DY & R

Sohal was the National Creative Director for Rediffusion Y&R and did some very good campaigns for the company. She joined in 2013 and had taken the company to the heights to receive International awards – like the Grand Prix, Gold, Silver, Bronze and she also took the company to become the finalist at Cannes. There were many more such awards and had been with Rediffusion for about 10 years. She started in the year 1993 as Art Director and has been working for about 16 years now.

AmitAkila and Malvika Mehta were National Creative Director and Senior Vice President for GREY

Amit and Malvika headed some 75 creative professionals in handling more than 70 brand campaigns. They started their work from 2010 and worked with Grey Group India to reach higher levels of efficiency. The company Grey bagged the Rs.300 crore project for the Reliance Telecom and together this pair worked for 6 years and bagged many prestigious awards.
